Year of the Tape was created with the intent of providing an overview of the releases within the video game soundtrack tape community.
There are many cool releases, and I found myself frustrated that most seemed to only exist as a ‘flavour of the week’ before being forgotten about. My hope is that this resource will help people discover new tapes to appreciate as well as provide general information about them.
